These large flower buds, with their stem still intact, are grown on a bush native to the Mediterranean. They are picked, sun-dried and then pickled in a vinegar brine. Their intense, pungent, straight caper flavor makes them an ideal bar snack or an interesting garnish for only the most well-suited dishes.

Too many mature berriesFeb 14, 2013
By Kelli D Whitehead These caperberries are just ok or maybe we just got a bad batch. Many of the berries were too mature, thus the seeds are hard and don't taste good. We love caperberries but were disappointed with this brand.
