By Stuart Stuart We use this to make passion fruit ice cream. You have to try it to comprehend how good it is. This is almost life changing.
A Fantastic Product With Shipping ProblemsJan 13, 2012
By T. Kline I ordered 4 tubs of Frozen Passion Fruit Puree, each tub was 1 kg each. I live in Pennsylvania and it appeared to have been shipped from New Jersey, only about 1.5 hours away. The frozen product was shipped with a bunch of freezer packs that you put in your lunchbox. Seriously. The product was almost completely thawed when it arrived and you can't refreeze it. Very frustrating. The seller refunded my money, but that's not the point. The product was shipped overnight at very high shipping cost. It was ordered in December when it was cold outside. The product was only on my front porch for a few hours.
The same day I ordered this I also ordered frozen puree from The Perfect Puree in Napa California. Their puree was shipped across country with dry ice, arrived overnight, and some of the ice chunks were still in the box. The puree was solid as a rock.
I tried some of the thawed puree and it was fantastic. Great flavor. If they can get a dry ice machine, I will buy more from them as the price is reasonable. I might even find them in NJ and drive there.
