Great product, unfortunately almost unknown in the USMar 26, 2010
By H. Gengnagel Quark is VERY healthy, the basic ingredient for the cheesecake European style: not as salty like the cheesecakes you are preparing with philadelphia cheese.
Quark gives the cheesecake a light texture and a fresh taste.
Also only with fresh fruit quark is very tasty.
And the best, mix it with onions, a pinch of garlic, salt and pepper and add a lot of fresh minced herbs. Delicious with baked potatoes, healthy and low calories.
The only con is, you can't get Quark in the US stores. So you have to order and the shipping costs are horrifying to getting it fresh and cooled. So I only can buy this product once a year, because 45 Dollar including shipping and handling for a pack of 6 is more than only expensive.
