Its duck fat!Nov 20, 2010
By pete02 This product is very popular in France and when I had some foods cooked with it, I had to have some. The only problem I had with this was that apparently it had to ship refrigerated to preserve it which cost me just as much as the product itself. I ended up spending around $50.on a gallon so I'm not so sure I'll be purchasing another one.

If you enjoy French food or up scale American food, this product is for you. It make any dish much richer and adds a je ne sais quoi. Price wise it is much cheaper than in stores when you can find it.

Duck fat. A new dimension to cookingMay 06, 2010
By Tomas G. Edvardsson You MUST have duck fat at home. Period.
Try frying potato in it. Eggs. The list goes on, but it's heaven.

Any decent cook knows that it takes good ingredients to make delicious food. This duck fat is well worth the money. I wish the shipping wasn't so costly, but I guess i'll just suck it up since there aren't too many places I can purchase this quantity of duck fat.
