Verjus is used for deglazing, sauces and dressings, as an alternative to wine, vinegar and lemon juice when a milder flavor profile is desired. Not widely used since medieval and Renaissance times, verjus is now enjoying a comeback in many dishes. This verjus comes in bottles and is a bit less sweet than the jarred version with grapes. | | | Features: | |

What a wasteOct 08, 2010
By HChef I opened the bottle and use a little amount. I placed the bottle in a cool, dark area for storage and the following week I went to use it and there was a nice gathering of mold in the neck of the bottle. I would like a return. I will than review the product and again and if it deserves a good rating, then so be it.
