SICOLY’s frozen and sweetened blackberry purée is made from a blend of wild and cultivated blackberries picked at optimum ripeness, each bringing its own individual characteristics to this balanced blend. The selected blackberries are processed into fruit purée in our production facilities. The pulp obtained is then de-aerated in order to eliminate any risk of micro-oxidation and is heat treated by a special, ultra-rapid ohmic heating process, which contributes to preserving all the organoleptic qualities of the fresh fruit (flavour, colour, texture).
